As a Technical Recruiter for Software Leadership at Meta, Sen Achary is passionate about finding the right leaders who can empower people to build communities and bring the world closer together. With over four years of relevant experience, Sen is an expert in sourcing and building effective pipelines for senior-level candidates with 10-20+ years of experience in large-scale distributed services. Sen's expertise in market-mapping for UK, EU, and other EMEA territories, as well as his experience in collaborating with TPM, IC, and Director roles, has helped him successfully source passive senior candidates and build effective pipelines. He has also been seconded to Meta's AI/ML team to increase hiring, resulting in successful passthrough rates. Apart from his role as a Technical Recruiter, Sen has also led several projects, including profile calibration documentation, offer rejections and declines data, and project management and efficiency tools. He has also developed a profile calibration and levelling tool using advanced Excel methods. Sen's special projects and recruiting initiatives include assessing best practices in interviewing techniques for D&I. Prior to joining Meta, Sen worked as a Technical Sourcing Recruiter for Bulb and Amazon. At Bulb, he owned the hiring for all Python Software Engineer roles and developed a hiring strategy by market-mapping UK and global environments. He also recommended a new interview process to improve candidate experience and reduce time-to-hire by several weeks. At Amazon, he partnered with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches and actively sourced passive candidates. Sen holds an MSc in Finance from the National College of Ireland and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from Athlone Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing Computer Programming, Specific Applications from Free Code Camp. Sen's tech stack includes Software Engineering, AI, ML, Research Scientist, Python, and Web.
