Senthil Kumar Iyyappan, also known as Ski, is an accomplished Information Security Evangelist and Advisor with over nine years of relevant experience. He is currently working as the Principal Advisor for Information Security - GTM at freshworks, where he handles Go To Market Information Security Strategy & Enablement across all markets and geographies for the Office of CIO & CISO. Ski has a strong educational background, having completed his Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2022. He also holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Symbiosis, and a B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. Ski's educational background has given him a deep understanding of the business and technology aspects of information security. In his current role at freshworks, Ski manages GTM Information Security Activities & Initiatives globally for all sales and customer-facing teams. He has also worked as Lead Advisor and Senior Advisor for Information Security at freshworks. In these roles, he was responsible for enabling GTM Information Security teams, assisting presales, sales, customer success, & support teams on information security capabilities, and creating and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and knowledge repositories. Ski has a wide range of certifications, including CPISI, GRCP, GRCA, AWS CCP, CHSE, CNSS, CISM, CISSP, OTCP/P, and CDPSE. He is skilled in a variety of technologies and platforms, with expertise in AWS.
