He has a proven track record of building highly scalable and available web-based products and services, and architecting frameworks with high fidelity for business prerogatives. Senthilkumar has a strong focus on security and availability, and has worked on PCI DSS compliance, encryption standards, OAuth standards, OpenID Connect protocol, and intelligent ATO prevention and bot attack mitigation measures. As a Senior Engineering Manager at eBay, Senthilkumar is responsible for managing multiple scrum teams to deliver the next generation of Seller Marketing platform and tools, including the recently announced Coded Coupons. He has also led Identity Infrastructure products with Identity Linking Platform, OAuth Specification, Secure Token Authentication systems, and Federated Identity, which form the critical platform components of flows such as checkout, search, etc. During his tenure as the engineering leader in Toronto, Senthilkumar managed multiple teams to integrate the Terapeak Research Analytics platform into eBay marketplaces, building new data-rich features to garner better insights to sellers on a near real-time basis. He has also worked on integrating social identity providers into the eBay ecosystem, creating a single-use code authentication platform, token data model redesign, and Identity architecture.
