Sergiu Dogaru is a highly accomplished Software Engineering Manager and a serial entrepreneur with over 13 years of experience in the tech industry. He has founded two successful startups that have surpassed the 4-year mark and generated millions in revenue. Despite his managerial position, Sergiu still spends at least 50% of his time coding and is an expert in Android mobile development. In fact, he created two of the first 100 apps ever published on Google Play and was the first to introduce in-app purchases in an Android app, months before iOS. Currently, Sergiu is a Software Engineering Manager at Facebook, where he leads a team of developers and oversees the development of new products and features. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook and as a Lead Android Developer and Product Manager at Color Tiger, a startup he co-founded. At Color Tiger, Sergiu was part of Google Launch and was responsible for building Smart IR Remote, Android's most powerful and most appreciated universal remote.
