Shaan Anshu is an IT professional with over 5 years of experience in developing, integrating, testing, and supporting multiple applications using a wide array of technologies and tools. Currently working as a Support Engineer at Salesforce, Shaan is a 2x Salesforce Certified and 2x Trailhead Ranger with a proven track record of delivering quality work with high user satisfaction. In his previous role at TCS as a Systems Engineer, Shaan was responsible for end-to-end development and support of multiple applications for a multinational investment bank of Canada. He designed and implemented automation to insert a large number of data in multiple tables using Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, IBM DataPower Gateway, thereby reducing 24 hours of manual work every month. Shaan also integrated multiple applications using SOAP Web Service to pass data back and forth in the form of XML for generating PDF(s). He identified and fixed multiple critical UI-related bugs in a BackboneJs (front-end) & Java (back-end) application to improve user experience and in turn reducing everyday user complaint ticket count to 0. Shaan developed an OTP-based user recognition system with the help of Spring Boot microservices in the back-end and Angular (NgRx) on the front-end side. He fixed multiple critical security vulnerabilities discovered in penetration testing and code scans for both UI and back-end. Shaan also led multiple successful Production deployments of critical projects. During his internship at HCL CDC Patna, Shaan developed a desktop-based application in VB.NET using Visual Studio 2013 called 'Lecture Scheduling Application'. This application was developed to provide a solution for the tedious task of creating Time Tables (in Schools & Colleges) manually. The application can take inputs like the number of teachers, classes, and execute an algorithm in the background to generate a time table and display it on the UI. Shaan's project was recognized as the "Best" out of all others in his batch, and he received the "Best Summer Internship Project" award. Shaan holds a Master of Computer Applications - MCA degree from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, and a BCA degree from Amity University. He completed his Senior Secondary education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
