Azure Optimizations (AO) team’s charter is to enable digital transformation of Microsoft by identifying and building solutions for optimizing Azure spend usage. Its customers are business groups and engineers who want easy and seamless mechanisms to surface Azure optimization recommendations, understand its ROI and act on them. Specifically, I own the Optimizations Analytics space where we build analytics use-cases for Azure Optimizations. My team also builds and provides solutions to proactively alert developers and service owners of Azure optimization recommendations and Azure spend budget overruns. The team’s experience with optimizing enterprise class workloads on Azure positions it uniquely to promote Azure as an economically sustainable Cloud platform with external customers and help drive more adoption of Azure.

Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) team’s charter is to enable Amazon deliver products to its customers efficiently. Amazon is able to accomplish this by analyzing millions of customer’s orders and deliverables using various tools and technologies like big data, machine learning etc. Amazon is then able to plan and forecast around customer needs. SCOT also involves selecting the right supplier/vendor to procure Amazon orders. My team’s charter was to grow and automate Amazon’s direct import business in SCOT.

As a SDM my primary responsibility was to work closely with Supply Chain business and provide automate solutions for their needs. I managed a team of engineers working to deliver software to meet customer, business, and technology needs. I was responsible for setting team’s roadmap, team project prioritization, product maintainability, operational excellence and also the growth of the engineers in my team.

Australian Water system is the manufacture of polyethylene rainwater tanks, agricultural products, and chemical storage tanks. These products are used in industries and environmental sector companies.

Responsible for building and growing Amazon's single-tenant case management CRM service to multi-tenant service. Enabled Amazon to grow their case management system from a single business team to 100+ other partner business teams like AWS, Alexa, Kindle, Retail etc with combined annual savings of more than $100MM as a result of using this system. The CRM system is now fully multi-tenant, geo-scaled distributed system. The goal of multi-tenancy was achieved by identifying the system components that should be tenantized, modifying the architecture to enable developers build tenantized features negating any regression, and coming up with an operational support process that can scale to multiple business requests quickly and effectively.  
All this was made possible by growing and leading a team of highly skilled SDEs, influencing people, system, technical strategy, product roadmap and partners.
