Shagneet Arora is a seasoned Software Engineer II with over 5.95 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing software solutions. Currently working at Slack, he is responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that facilitate communication and collaboration among teams. With a strong background in software engineering, Shagneet has worked on various technologies including Spark, Java, Backend, Apache Airflow, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Hadoop, Microservices, and Apache Hive. Prior to joining Slack, Shagneet worked as a Software Engineer III at Walmart where he was responsible for designing and developing software solutions to improve the overall efficiency of the organization's business processes. He has also worked as a Software Developer at Caastle, where he was responsible for building and testing micro-services and jobs in Java to enable the backend business processes to run smoothly. At Caastle, he had sole ownership of the Receiving flow, which included numerous internal tools whose main job included automated style creation in the ERP- Netsuite, purchase order creations and manipulations, launch planning, receiving of garments in the warehouse, and the related processes. Shagneet holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science engineering from Punjab Engineering College. During his time at college, he gained a solid foundation in computer science and engineering principles, which he has since leveraged to excel in his career as a software engineer. With a strong technical skill set and an eye for detail, Shagneet is committed to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of his clients and users.
