Shalini Singh is a Sales specialist in the Business Development Team of Amazon Advertising, with a focus on managing a portfolio of 10+ brands across categories such as large appliances, home, kitchen, and sports. She is responsible for helping brands grow and meet their business objectives by leveraging the suite of Amazon Ads products. Shalini is also responsible for closing joint marketing plans with the brands, curating their Amazon marketing strategy for objectives like new launches, sustenance, capturing and retaining market share by closely working with internal and external stakeholders. She conducts monthly/quarterly/yearly reviews with the marketing and e-commerce teams of clients and helps them stay ahead of the curve via insights, current trends on the platform, and competitive benchmarking. Shalini completed her postgraduate program in Strategic Marketing and Communications from MICA, Ahmedabad. Prior to that, she worked for 20 months as a Software Engineer in Ericsson India Global Services Pvt Ltd, a multinational company in the information and communication technology industry. Along with technical skills, Shalini has a creative inclination towards writing poems, articles, and short stories. She also enjoys open mic performances and creating topical memes. Furthermore, she loves delivering monologues, learning new languages, and discovering various Indian states. Shalini is a huge fan of Gulzar and Rabindra Nath Tagore! Currently, Shalini works as a Search Specialist at Google. She has a Bachelor's degree from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology and completed her schooling at D.A.V. Public School in Ranchi.
