Shalmali Naik is a Senior Design Researcher at Walmart eCommerce, with over 7 years of relevant experience in research, product design, data analysis, and software engineering. She holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from NMIMS. Shalmali is passionate about delivering user-friendly experiences and advocating for users by understanding and eliminating their pain points. She has led foundational and evaluative research for Walmart Health and Wellness, including pharmacy, health, and vision centers, and virtual care. She partners effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with engineering, data science, UX/design, and product teams to deliver outstanding results. She also worked as a User Experience Researcher at Cvent, where she established an ethnographic research program and conducted research for OnSite products to gather insights in-context.
