Shalom Sam is a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer, React Developer, and React Native Engineer based in Vancouver, BC. With over 9 years of experience in LAMP and MEAN stack development, Shalom has successfully maintained, developed, and launched multiple projects from scratch. He has a strong background in providing UI/UX inputs, ideating architecture, and building complete end-to-end workflows in grunt and automated integration tools such as Bamboo (by Atlassian). Driven by his passion for coding and web development, Shalom is always trying out and learning new languages and tools that facilitate better development. He has even started multiple small projects in his free time to explore new technologies and stay ahead of the curve. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Best Buy Canada, Shalom troubleshoots and leads a team to improve website/API resilience against bots. He has also conceptualized architecture/pipelines to improve website security cadence and workflows, improved web-vital tracking through pipeline builds, real-time metric tracking, and helped analyze and improve website performance. Shalom has also helped troubleshoot SNAT port issues on the platform. In his previous role as a Senior React Developer at Best Buy Canada, Shalom contributed to maintaining and adding new features to the react-based website/webapp(s). He also contributed to designing and building SKU event badges and implementing Google AdSlot on the react webapp. Before that, he worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Endurance International Group. Shalom holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, as well as a High School degree from Saint Mary's Junior College and Saint Mary's High School. His technical skills include Software Engineering, React Native, Web development, Bamboo, Integration, and UI design.
