Shameek Chakravarty is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with over 19 years of experience in steering P&L and building products and businesses across a wide range of dimensions. He has worked with startups and Fortune 500 companies, serving both enterprise and consumer markets across India and worldwide. Throughout his career, Shameek has consistently focused on building products and platforms that enable small businesses, including small farmers, to thrive. Shameek has worked in large companies as well as small startup teams and has enjoyed different aspects of all these journeys. As a 2X entrepreneur, he has a deep respect for entrepreneurs and empathy for the entrepreneurial journey, which can be lonely at times. Currently, Shameek is a Product Management Consultant at Continuous Technologies, where he is focused on solving the problem of introducing usage-based pricing models in a way that is fast, risk-free, and seamless. Shameek helped build the API-first internet scale usage rating platform, which can ingest billions of usage events from customer systems and evaluate complex policies and pricing rules for each event to generate the final balances for invoicing. Prior to Continuous Technologies, Shameek was the Founder & CEO of Farmizen, a source traceable farm-to-fork marketplace that enables discovery, transactions, and fulfillment between organic farmers and consumers looking for clean food. He led product, design, marketing, customer support, and everything else a founder does. Under his leadership, Farmizen pioneered social commerce/group buying in fresh produce in India and won much customer love and several awards. Shameek was also part of the founding team of Trimian, which built over 40,000 community networks, 150 of which had companion apps on iOS and Android. These networks powered regional interest groups, company networking groups, and school alumni groups. One of the apps Shameek and his team quickly hacked up on their infrastructure went viral during the 2016 US Presidential Elections. Shameek holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a B.E. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is skilled in product management, AWS, Snowflake, Android, iOS, and infra.
