Shamil Niyas is a young and dynamic Founding Team Engineer at Anakin, a startup that recently got accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2021 batch. With a strong passion for entrepreneurship and a relentless drive for success, Shamil is constantly pushing boundaries and striving for excellence in everything he does. Currently, Shamil serves as the Fest Head for Tirutsava, the annual techno-cultural festival of Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the festival, from planning and organizing events to managing budgets and coordinating with sponsors. His exceptional leadership skills and attention to detail have helped make Tirutsava a huge success year after year. Prior to his current role, Shamil held positions as the Cultural Affairs Secretary and a student at Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati. These experiences helped him develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students, as well as the skills required to effectively manage large-scale events and projects. Shamil holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, which he is set to complete in 2024. He is proficient in a range of software engineering tools and technologies, making him a valuable asset to any team he works with. With just over 0.27 years of relevant experience, Shamil has already made a significant impact in his field. He is a highly motivated and driven individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for innovation.
