Shani Singh is a dynamic professional with 8 years of rich experience in railway signalling engineering, specifically in Japan-ATC, ATS & Interlocking Application Logic, CBTC-Metro Signaling and Indian Railway–SSI/RRI Interlocking. Currently, she is deputed in Japan for Kyosan Electric Mfg. Ltd. as Onsite-Coordinator and Independent Checker for ATC, ATS & Interlocking projects. Shani has worked on various projects such as the CBTC based Sydney Metro Northwest Project, SIL Hongkong Project and Lucknow Metro as Application Executive, responsible for Design & verification of CBI wayside equipment’s specification document and circuit book. She has also worked on KFW-Ansaldo project for Indian Railways, responsible for design of SSI based Interlocking control table, cable core plan & wayside Interface circuit drawings. Currently, Shani is working as a Senior Engineer at Larsen & Toubro, where she is responsible for the application logic design for Conventional ATC, C-ATS & Interlocking. Her role includes the creation of a project charter with the client, analysis of specification documents and other inputs for the creation of application logic, verification of application logic for Interlocking, ATC & ATS with respect to project specification and client requirements, creation of Relay library, compatible for Logic data compiler tool and logic Booleans, compilation of Application Logic data from LDC tool for testing with ATC and ATS device simulators, factory testing of ATC projects, coordination with offshore-team for project inputs, project executions, design, verification and final design submission, client communication, status report and queries response. Shani has previously worked with Alstom Transport India Ltd. as an Application Engineer where she was responsible for the design and verification of Wayside Interface specification for CBI Subsystem for the Sydney Metro Northwest Australia - CBTC (3rd Stage – Chatswood to Cudgegong) project. She has also worked as an Assistance Design Engineer for L&T Technology Services for the KFW Ansaldo STS Project - SSI (4th phase Ghaziabad to Kanpur Section) where she was responsible for the modernization of the RRI system to SSI (Solid State Interlocking) and addition of third line.
