He is also an active contributor to Mozilla and has handled a Flask app to deploy machine learning models on Heroku, which is used by participants on fast.ai. He is the founder of Yogdaan, an NGO that has helped thousands of underprivileged people fulfill their basic needs. Shankar is also an advocate for climate change awareness and has created an Awesome-Climate-Change repository for curated resources related to climate change and AI.
