Shankri Chandra is a highly enthusiastic and confident project manager at Tag, with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of marketing and branding. In his current role at Tag, Shankri is responsible for conceptualizing go-to-market and branding strategies. He strongly believes that there's no harm in 'going social' as long as it's not making you 'anti-social'. He understands that while digital is the future, traditional marketing strategies are still relevant and important. Prior to joining Tag, Shankri worked as a Sr. Client Servicing Manager at BBDO India, where he liaised with internal teams and maintained existing clients. He managed end-to-end campaigns for both Commercial & Consumer Vehicle segment of Exxon Mobil, India. He also led major campaigns aimed at boosting sales & brand affinity, including Olympics 2020, 83’ Movie Marketing, and BS VI launch. Shankri's role at BBDO also included formulating pitch strategies for new business acquisitions. Shankri has also worked as a Client Strategy Manager at Repindia, where he led pitches for new business acquisitions and handled branding & marketing for brands like Flipkart (B2B), Tata Trust, and Arvind Brand (TCP, USPA). He monitored end-to-end campaign execution and leveraged digital media tactics to ensure successful digital presence of these brands. Shankri holds an MBA in Communication and Media Studies from Symbiosis School of Media and Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Information Science/Studies from CMR Institute of Technology. He also completed his schooling from Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School and Christ Church Senior Secondary School. Shankri is a highly motivated individual with a passion for marketing and branding.
