Shanmuk Aluri is a seasoned Sr. Data Engineer at Optum with over 9 years of experience in the field of data engineering. He is a big data consultant with expertise in data engineering on Microsoft cloud platform and Snowflake, and has industry experience in financial/retail and marketing domains. Shanmuk has a good knowledge and experience on all data engineering eco-system of Azure platform, and has Azure data warehousing experience with working knowledge on parallel data warehouse and massive parallel processing architecture. He is an expert in developing big data marts on Azure HDInsights integrating with Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks and Spark. Shanmuk is a big data enthusiast with deep knowledge on core architecture of Hadoop and Spark, and has experience in warehousing on Hadoop using Hive.
