Shantanu Bansal is a highly skilled Tech Lead with over 6 years of relevant experience in the software engineering industry. He has a strong background in distributed systems, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies. Shantanu is currently working as a Technical Lead at Spectro Cloud, where he is responsible for building a SaaS application distributed over multi-cloud and multi-region for the underlying product. Throughout his career, Shantanu has designed and developed various software solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as MongoDB, Kubernetes, Golang, Docker, and MemCache. He has also implemented distributed messaging systems using NATS server and designed tools for MongoDB backup, restore, and migration in Golang. Moreover, Shantanu has deployed the Saas over multiple Kubernetes clusters to attain high availability and implemented Nginx-Ingress to control and secure API servers. Shantanu has a proven track record of designing and developing APIs using go-swagger 2.0 and optimizing and enhancing performance for MongoDB queries. He has also enabled MongoDB for Kubernetes before the MongoDB Kubernetes Operator came. Furthermore, Shantanu has integrated OAuth, SAML 2.0, JWT, and OpenId Connect (OIDC) based identity providers and designed the OIDC compliant authentication server. Prior to his current role, Shantanu worked as a Software Engineer at Autodesk and Spectro Cloud, where he was involved in developing AutoSpecs and eBinder products. He has also worked on UX, Services, and mainly the algorithm part of these products. Shantanu has a Bachelor's degree in Cloud Computing and Virtualization Technologies from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and completed training on Hadoop Developer from Xebia.
