Shantanu Kulkarni is a Lead Software Engineer at Appointy India, with over six years of valuable experience in developing cross-platform applications. He has a hands-on experience in designing the architecture of the application for maximum speed and scalability. Shantanu has worked as a full stack developer on various web applications and SAAS products. His long-term goal is to acquire skills, knowledge, and tools to effectively play the role of an enterprise architect and full stack developer. Currently, Shantanu is leading the development of a SaaS platform, named Saastack, at Appointy. He has designed a plug-and-play architecture for backend, frontend, and mobile app with inbuilt scaling, security, and regulatory compliance handling. Shantanu has contributed to core layers of the architecture including Authentication, Roles and Rights, Licensing, and default libraries. He has reduced the development time by creating reusable components and code generation. Shantanu has also taught, coached, and mentored developers for increasing their efficiency. He has worked on improving DX (Developer Experience) and contributed to code generation tools. In the past, Shantanu has worked as an Associate Product Developer and Tech Intern at Appointy. He has worked on Appointy Scheduling and Telefonica Conferencing portal. Shantanu has designed a conference scheduling and management portal from scratch and integrated it with CISCO technologies (CMS and TMS). He has also implemented Stripe Payment system integration for accepting recurring payments and subscriptions. Shantanu has created a payment monitor system for monitoring and managing the subscriptions on the stripe. He has also converted the appointy's (Web Forms) code into Angular 2 with Flux architecture. Shantanu has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in computer science from University Institute of Technology, RGPV. He has also completed All India Senior School Certificate in Physics Chemistry Maths from Orion international.
