Shantanu Patne is a Software Engineer at Rakuten Mobile, Inc. with extensive experience in Embedded Systems, IoT, and Data Analysis. He has strong fundamentals in C, C++, and Python and working knowledge of R, Java, and Javascript. Shantanu is always eager to learn and figure out what to learn next. Currently, at Rakuten, he designs and codes application components in an Agile environment utilizing a test-driven development approach using Angular (Typescript) and Javascript. He works closely with project managers and other functional team members to form a team effort in the development. Shantanu also optimizes the product code and quality by coordinating with other developers to minimize problems while improving efficiency. He has developed various key features to improve User Experience. Previously, Shantanu worked as a Course Design Intern at Teamvision Inc. where he designed a holistic curriculum for teaching Logical Reasoning to visually challenged students. He analyzed various challenges faced by students in learning and understanding the topic and researched and developed intuitive solutions to counter them. He also worked as an R&D Intern at Inavit Systems Pvt. Ltd. where he tested and designed embedded system prototypes and used Eagle and Proteus for designing product layouts. He worked on C and C++ for software implementation. Shantanu pursued his Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. He graduated in 2020. Shantanu's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Mobile, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Java, Data Science, and AngularJS.
