Shantanu Shastri is a driven and ambitious Software Engineer Intern at BlackRock with a passion for Machine Learning and Data Science. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications from Manipal Institute of Technology and is set to graduate in 2022. Shantanu has a diverse range of experiences, having previously served as the President of the official dramatics society of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Aaina Dramatics, as well as a member of the sponsorship core committee. These experiences have honed his leadership and communication skills, which he brings to his work at BlackRock. In his current role, Shantanu has demonstrated proficiency in a range of tech stacks, including Software Engineering, Data Science, ML, and Backend. He has gained 1.28 years of relevant experience in the industry, and his skills have been further developed through his previous role as an Ex. data science intern at Shunya. Shantanu is eager to continue developing his skills in Machine Learning and Data Science and is looking to secure an internship in these fields.
