Shantanu Sontakke is a passionate blockchain developer and AI/ML enthusiast who strongly believes that technology should be used to solve problems, not create them. As the Project Head at IEEE Student Branch VIT Pune, he has been instrumental in organizing the IEEE International Conference on Industry 4.0 (I4Tech) and conducting Data Science Month Workshop as a Workshop Instructor. Shantanu is a staunch believer in blockchain technology and its potential to bring transparency and trust to systems that we operate. He believes that blockchain technology can only be fully realized through the decentralization of technology, and that AI can be used to enhance these robust decentralized blockchain networks. He is committed to keeping data sharing open while providing good privacy to users. With a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Shantanu has also completed an Honors in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. He has experience in using a range of technologies, including blockchain, AI, ML, decentralized systems, and web development. Shantanu has been recognized for his skills and expertise, having been named a Runner-Up at the Chainlink Hackathon 2021. He is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow in his field. With 1.51 years of relevant experience, he is poised to make a significant impact in the blockchain and AI industries.
