Shanthan Cheruku is a Full Stack Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the IT and Technology industry. He is currently working as a Technical Consultant at Kin Carta, where he is responsible for helping one of the major financial services clients with their cloud modernization initiative. In this role, he has played a major role in achieving seamless transition into adopting the latest technology within their ecosystem while delivering utmost value to all its stakeholders. Shanthan has extensive experience working with Java Spring Batch applications and developing RESTful APIs using Spring boot and integrating them with ECS Service broker provided by PCF. He has also extensively worked with messaging brokers such as Kafka and is familiar with bash scripting. Shanthan has a passion for entrepreneurship and enjoys networking and talking to people from various backgrounds to learn what they have been doing to get ahead. In his past roles, Shanthan has worked as a Senior Technical Analyst at Kin Carta Create, where he developed Java Spring Boot based microservices using event-driven architecture, which played a key role in communicating with external APIs to retrieve data and process it. He also has experience building and deploying applications using Pivotal Cloud Foundry and building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot REST. He has extensively worked with messaging brokers such as RabbitMQ. Prior to that, he worked as a Java Software Engineer at CME. Shanthan holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from DePaul University, which he completed in 2018, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, which he completed in 2012.
