Shao Fang is a seasoned software engineering leader with over 27 years of experience in Cloud platform and enterprise application development. Currently, he serves as the VP of Engineering at Memora Health, a healthcare organization that digitizes and automates care journeys for patients and clinicians. Shao has scaled and led globally distributed teams to multiple successful exits via acquisition. He is adept in agile process execution, technology and architecture decisions with Time-to-Value focus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products to customers. Prior to his current role, Shao co-founded and served as VP of Engineering at Double Time, an early-stage startup incubated by the Hive, a VC fund and co-creation studio focusing on Enterprise AI. He also served as VP of Engineering at ServiceMax, the leading Field Service Management ISV, recognized by Gartner as a leader since 2015. During his tenure, he launched Service Board, ServiceMax's next-generation dispatching, schedule optimization, and project management app. Shao has a strong educational background, with a BS in Engineering & Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology, an MS in Electrical Engineering, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Shao is a highly skilled technology leader with expertise in Senior Software Engineering, AI, Mobile, Computer Vision, Azure, Web, Salesforce, AWS, UI, Apache Hive, New Relic, Kubernetes, Docker, iOS, React Native, and Android.
