Sharan Binu is a certified Mechanical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in various sectors ranging from construction to information technology. He is a self-motivated and result-driven professional with a demonstrated history of working on high-pressure engagements for prestigious clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Currently, Sharan works as a Mechanical Engineer for Sepco III Electric Power Construction Co. Ltd. on a $900 million Desalination plant RO IWP 200 MIGD and 70 MW Solar Panels construction project for ACWA Power under the banner TDC. His duties include ensuring the entire Mechanical scope follows the accepted design and international standards, monitoring logs for tracking shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, inspection test plans, and RFIs. He also develops operational procedures and test runs, attends weekly and monthly meetings as a representative, prepares manpower histograms and S-curves, arranges dedicated meetings for deviations from standards with the client representative for mechanical and quality, and prepares weekly and monthly reports. Previously, Sharan worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Goldenland Electromechanical Works, where he oversaw various villa projects in Jumeirah and Khawaneej. His responsibilities included ensuring HVAC systems were installed according to standards and client requirements, preparing BOQ based on drawings provided for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting works, checking work on site based on approved drawings, and solving non-conformities in delivered materials. Sharan also worked as an Associate Software Engineer for Accenture, where he delivered high-pressure engagements within given deadlines for prestigious clients. He performed data integrity and efficacy tests on extracted data to make meaningful assumptions to proceed with migration, prepared test case scenarios based on the end application to check for bugs or crashes, and launched data migration procedures with regular assessments and confirmation of clean transfers done. Sharan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from TKM College of Engineering. He is also certified in QAQC Engineering, Planning Engineering, Primavera P6, NDT Level II, Piping, Photography, and Artistry.
