With over 7 years of experience in the industry, Sharan has a proven track record of delivering fun and engaging mobile games. Currently, Sharan is excited to be working at Tonk Tonk Games, where he is responsible for creating innovative games that keep players coming back for more. Prior to his role at Rec Room, Sharan worked as a Game Engineering Lead at Osmo, where he managed the engineering for Reading Adventure, a subscription-based learn-to-read game for kids aged 5-7. He also coordinated and managed dependencies with the computer vision and speech recognition teams to ensure the product continuously met internal deadlines and code quality. Sharan also worked as a Software Engineer in Games at Osmo, where he was the Engineering Lead on three Super Studio games of 2018. These cross-platform games were optimized to work across iPhones, iPads, and Amazon Fire tablets. Sharan holds a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute. He has a strong technical background in Software Engineering, Mobile, Computer Vision, and Web3.
