Sharan Tulsiani is an experienced start-up and business development veteran with a passion for gaming, media, and entertainment. With over 21 years of relevant experience, he has worked across India, SEA, and Western Europe, guiding companies to create value and achieve success. Sharan started his career at the young age of 17, launching his own venture before joining the first online gaming and new-age digital marketing startups in India. He later joined Microsoft Xbox, where he launched the Kinect before pursuing his MBA at the Indian School of Business (ISB). After completing his MBA, Sharan led business development teams across SEA, LATAM, and Europe in the app monetization business. He then joined Google Play, where he led strategic gaming partnerships across India and ANZ. Currently, Sharan is a co-founder of a new gaming venture that is yet to be announced. He has also served as the Vice President of IDGS, a not-for-profit association of industry leaders in the Indian gaming industry, formed by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Sharan's education includes an MBA in Business Strategy and Marketing from ISB and a degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Guided by his two simple drives - passion and creating value - Sharan is implementing his vision and strategy at the largest scale ever at Google Play, and now with his new gaming venture. His expertise in gaming, media, and entertainment, coupled with his extensive business development experience, makes him a valuable mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs in the industry.
