Sharath Challa is a Lead Software Engineer at Sidewalk, with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a FullStack Developer with expertise in JavaScript and a passion for crafting high-quality software. Currently, Sharath is working as a Senior Software Engineer at UnitedHealth, where he is building an infrastructure portal for provisioning and maintaining IT products. He is using NextJS and TypeScript for this project. In the past, Sharath has worked with Lantronix as a Member Technical Staff, where he built dashboards for tracking and maintaining IoT devices. He used MQTT for real-time communication and worked with AngularJS and Angular. He has also worked with Fropcorn as a Software Development Engineer, where he built a backend service responsible for handling ~200GB video file uploads. He used FFmpeg for transcoding videos to play on different platforms and built a web app for putting all metadata of a video file (a movie). He used NoSQL DB (FB's Parse) and worked with NodeJS and AngularJS. He also experimented with Golang to improve video transcoding performance. Sharath completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad in 2015.
