Sharath Pingula is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Prealize Health, bringing over 12 years of experience in the field of data science and renewable energy. Sharath has a passion for exploring new technologies and their potential for broader social impact. He is well-versed in predictive analytics, distributed computing, machine learning, and computer vision. Sharath is a skilled entrepreneur, having founded Yuktha Energy with a vision to solve today's key issues of the energy crisis and climate change using solar solutions. His team grew to 25 engineers specialized in solar plant design and construction, with an installed capacity of more than 300 MW. Sharath has expertise in renewable energy feasibility models, energy forecasting, cost optimization, and project budgeting. In addition to his work in renewable energy, Sharath has extensive experience in data science and machine learning. Prior to joining Prealize Health, he served as a Sr. Data Scientist at Impact and a Data Scientist at Shazam, where he worked on building recommendation engines, creating impactful models, extracting powerful insights, identifying interesting patterns, and predicting rare occurrences. Sharath holds a Master of Science (MS) in Data Science from the University of Virginia, a Certification in Big Data Analytics from INSOFE, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He also earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
