Shariq Hashmi is a Principal Engineering Manager with a proven track record of engineering leadership in building products from scratch and taking them beyond version N across domains like travel, ad tech, and building core platforms like Azure Cache for diverse customer cohorts. He is currently working at Microsoft as the Principal Engineering Manager for Azure Cache for Redis from India, one of the key Azure services, a highly distributed, scalable, and reliable service built on top of Redis as its core.
