Shariq Khan is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in the financial services industry. Currently working as a software developer at PayU, he is skilled in Ruby on Rails, Ruby, HTML, Linux, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Shariq holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from HMR Institute Of Technology And Management. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Shariq has a demonstrated history of delivering successful projects. At PayU, he has worked on various projects such as Reseller Portal, Chargeback Portal, and Post On-boarding Risk Management System. He completely automated the reseller settlement module, developed a middleware system for onboarding and payments with multiple partners, and updated the pricing plans module of the resellers to make it more flexible. Currently, he is working on invoice generation for the settlement of the resellers. Shariq has also developed and maintained the Chargeback portal used by the settlement team in the organization. He has designed, developed, and implemented features like direct bank representation for chargeback cases on bank servers through SFTP and automation of various tasks like reports generation through CRON jobs (async jobs). Shariq is proficient in various tools such as Capistrano, New Relic, Amazon S3, and has experience working with MySQL, Redis, AWS, Web, Javascript, and Salesforce.
