Sharmilee Sarkar is a talented UX writer and content designer with a passion for enhancing user experiences through effective copy and design. With a background in English and Pedagogy, as well as experience in media, Sharmilee brings a unique perspective to her work, using behavioral motivation, linguistics, and empathy to create content that resonates with users' emotions. Currently working as a UX Writer at Coditas, Sharmilee is responsible for researching, analyzing competitors, auditing existing guidelines, and building customized brand style guides to enhance the user experience of software platforms. She collaborates closely with developers and designers to understand the product and create usable UX copies that are best suited for end-users and fulfill the client's business goals. Sharmilee also conducts UX copy workshops and internal sessions to help designers understand the importance of good UX copy in applications. Prior to joining Coditas, Sharmilee worked as a Content Developer and Associate Director at Yelo Films, where she developed briefings, brochures, multimedia presentations, web pages, and promotional products. She was also involved in the process of pre to post-production and worked closely with directors, executive producers, and clients. Sharmilee has also worked as an English Language Trainer at Podar International School, Jalna, where she provided effective content for soft skill development and conducted innovative student research to personalize teaching-learning methodologies. Sharmilee holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, Linguistics from Symbiosis, and a B.A B.ed degree from Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar, India. She is a certified trainer and enjoys mentoring budding writers to break into the tech world and design content that builds memorable experiences. In her free time, Sharmilee enjoys painting and doodling.
