Sharu Goel is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer currently working as an SDE 2 at Amazon's AWS division. With over 3 years of relevant experience in the industry, Sharu has a strong background in software engineering, AWS, web development, Java, Docker, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Spring Boot, Spring, and deep learning. Sharu started her career as a Software Development Intern at Walmart, where she was part of the Finance Technology team of Walmart's Global Business Services division. During her time at Walmart, she worked on web application development using Core Java and JavaEE platform with Spring Boot. She also automated environment build and provisioning using containerization and virtualization with Docker. Additionally, Sharu optimized full-text search queries by indexing MongoDB with Elasticsearch and created RESTful APIs for increased scalability of the app. After her stint at Walmart, Sharu worked as a Deep Learning Intern at Progressive Infotech, where she designed a Cost Projection System using AWS billing reports of customers.
