Shashank Chandrakar is a Senior Software Engineer at Gojek with a passion for coding. He is driven by the idea of using software to solve practical problems and believes in the power of programming to transform and improve people's lives around the world. Shashank has over 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development. Shashank started his career as a Software Developer at Urban Pro, where he was responsible for creating internal tools for the business team to help them track customer leads. He also had the opportunity to interact with clients directly and resolve their pain points. Currently, he works at Get My Parking, where he is responsible for enhancing the existing code base to handle increased traffic on their production server. Shashank has expertise in Java, C++, Spring-boot, Dropwizard, TDD, System design, MySQL, JUnit, Docker, Jenkins, Redis, Active MQ, Apache Cassandra, Unit testing, Git, Agile Methodologies, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). He has also worked on the CI/CD pipeline on Jenkins and implemented a nightly build that builds all the code and runs automation suite on them to maintain bug-free and production-ready code. Shashank has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University and completed his Class 12 from S.S.S-10 School, CBSE Board. He is also a full-stack developer with experience in Groovy on grails, React JS, MySQL, Jenkins, and AWS. Shashank has a keen interest in deep learning, CNN, and Kafka. Outside of work, Shashank continues to write code and work on his side project with his college friends. He is a dedicated software engineer who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.
