Shashank Garg is a consumer strategy professional with over 8 years of experience in enabling market-related strategic and tactical decision-making processes for corporate and brand functions. He is currently working as Insights & Strategy lead at BYJU's, where he is responsible for driving insights and strategy for the organization. Shashank has extensive experience in market research, consumer insights, data analytics, qualitative and quantitative research. He is proficient in technical skills such as Ms Office, R, SAS, SQL, Java, and BARC. Prior to BYJU's, Shashank worked as Manager, Insights and Analytics at Star TV, where he won the Star Sports Marketing CONNECT award for effective regionalization of ISL broadcast. He managed the Cricket Insights function covering IPL, ICC, and India International cricket. He conducted end-to-end primary research across geographies throughout India along with analytics on BARC viewership data for multiple established and emerging sports properties for the Indian market. Shashank also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Huawei, where he was felicitated with COO Incentive Award Q4 2014 for Outstanding Efficiency. Shashank is a Post Graduate Program (PGP) graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B.Tech. graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Durgapur. He also holds a science degree from Delhi Public School, Faridabad.
