Shashank Gautam is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working at Rivigo as a Software Development Engineer, where he is responsible for building backend APIs and applications to help with tracking resources like fuel, planning, tracking drivers, and other necessary requirements. Shashank has worked on end-to-end development of applications as part of the Banking Software Platform, utilizing technologies such as Spring, Core Java, Maven, Git, MongoDB, MySql, Oracle ADF Framework, Hibernate, and Eclipselink, among others. He has excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills, with strong technical and soft skills. Prior to joining Rivigo, Shashank worked as a Software Engineer at Cleartrip, where he was responsible for making and maintaining previously made applications for the Air Team. He was also responsible for looking into issues faced on production, i.e., live issues as reported by customers. Shashank also worked at Oracle as an Associate Application Developer, where he gained proficient knowledge of working with various modules in a Bank with a focus on the Pricing Module. He undertook the design and development of applications, with the first level of testing done using Junits. He wrote programs in Core Java, connected databases to applications using Eclispelink, and developed UI for Banking Applications following the MVC Architecture. He also worked on creating the framework for internationalization of Enumerations and successfully migrated the previous ORM tool Hibernate to Eclispelink. For his excellent work, he received the i-Appreciate award for the best team for the timely and swift migration of the ORM tool. Shashank holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
