Shashank Hiremath is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 3 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working as an SDE2 at Amazon, he has previously worked at Swiggy and GeeksForGeeks, where he developed backend microservices using Golang and Java. As part of the pricing team at Swiggy, Shashank is working on microservices using Golang. Shashank has also interned at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore, where he developed a POC for an efficient “Approximate Nearest Vector Search” algorithm and contributed to the end-to-end product development, testing, and integration to make a new commercializable product. He has also improved the performance of existing products in the Bixby Search Service using the same algorithm as a basis. Shashank is a HackwithInfy Finalist and CodeChef Certified DSA Advanced with 2x ICPC Regionals and SIH ISRO Finalist. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from KLE Technological University. Shashank's tech stack includes Golang, Java, AWS, Redis, Docker, PHP, and MySQL.
