Shashank Jain is a highly experienced Data Scientist with over 7 years of experience in the E-commerce industry. He has a strong background in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. Shashank is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he earned his Master of Science degree in Economics. Currently, Shashank is serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Junglee, where he is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to solve complex business problems. Prior to joining Junglee, he worked as a Machine Learning Manager at Snapdeal, where he led a team of Data Scientists and worked on a diverse set of projects, including recommender systems, personalization, fraud prediction, and ETA prediction. Additionally, he used a combination of collaborative filtering and image similarity to generate similar recommendations for top products at Snapdeal and developed a system to identify duplicate products using transfer learning and image similarity. Before Snapdeal, Shashank worked as a Data Scientist at Jabong, where he gained experience in developing and implementing machine learning models for various business use cases.
