Shashank Johri is a highly experienced Product Management professional with over 14 years of experience in the field. During his tenure, he led a portfolio of ‘core backend’ and ‘consumer-facing’ products related to the ‘Bookings Matching' platform, which matches drivers and passengers for millions of rides daily across 7 countries in South East Asia. He was responsible for defining the product vision and roadmap and improving the key metrics for Grab. Shashank built and rolled out multiple high-impact products in a very short duration by working with cross-functional teams of Data Scientists, Product Analysts, Engineers, Designers, Product Marketers, User Researchers, and Business Operations teams. He liaised and aligned with Country Heads and their teams across SEA, which led to an increase in profitability, rides, driver retention, and driver/passenger NPS and provided a strong competitive advantage against the formidable competitor in South East Asia. Shashank holds an MBA from Duke University and National University of Singapore, with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General and Strategy and Organization, respectively. He also holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur. Shashank's technical skills include Product Management, Research Science, and Backend development.
