Shashank Mittal is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in Python, networking, algorithms and data structures, object-oriented programming, UI and API automation, and performance. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff at VMware, where he is part of the NSX team and focuses on Python and networking. Prior to joining VMware, Shashank worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Calsoft and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Mojo Networks. At Mojo Networks, he developed and implemented a fully customized hybrid automation framework using Robot Framework and Python for functional and non-functional testing of Mojo Access Point and API/UI testing of Mojo Wireless Manager Cloud Web Application. He also automated various Access Point features, such as client connection with all security types of SSID, client roaming with multiple AP, and radius COA/DM functionality using FreeRadius Server. Shashank has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), where he graduated in 2013. He has a diverse range of technical skills, including software engineering, Python, test, UI, Selenium, integration, and web development.
