Shashank Sharma is an experienced Data Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the information technology and services industry. He is currently working as a Data Engineer at Salesforce and has previously worked at Eli Lilly and Company and Wipro in similar roles. Shashank is a graduate of the National Institute of Technology Raipur, where he completed his Bachelor of Technology degree in 2018. He also migrated complex Alteryx workflows having historical data size around 100 GB in the AWS environment using Glue and EMR as services. Furthermore, he developed AWS lake and formed 3 data layers in S3 for data governance and cataloging all the data into AWS lake's database table. He also extracted data from different kinds of data sources (Sap, BMC remedy, Irish, Sharepoint, etc) using (Theobald, API call, etc) and transferred data from the S3 final layer to Redshift using Lambda and Glue as AWS services. He developed unit test script for all migrated use-cases in the AWS environment and prepared end-to-end data pipeline in AWS and orchestrated the same in step function and AWS Glue workflow.
