Shashank Shekhar is an experienced software developer with over 8 years of experience building complex products from scratch. He currently works as a Software Development Engineer II at Microsoft, where he is responsible for developing new and existing features using various technologies such as Python, AWS, and Elastic Search. Prior to his current role, Shashank worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Moonfrog Labs, where he developed games and infrastructure to support a large number of concurrent users. He used C++, NodeJS, and GoLang to build the platform/server side of the games and Cocos2d for the client side. He also worked on developing new and existing features using NodeJS and GoLang and used Python to automate and streamline the build and deployment process. Shashank also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Belong, where he built a B2B recruitment solution using Django and MySQL. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from IIIT Bhubaneswar and completed his Class XII and Class X from Delhi Public School Kalinga and Delhi Public School Bilaspur, respectively. Shashank is proficient in various technologies such as Python, AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, Flask, NodeJS, Golang, Redis, and Jenkins. He has experience working on web, mobile, and backend development, as well as microservices and UI development.
