Shashank Srivastava is an accomplished Engineering professional with over 9 years of experience in designing and developing user-centric, scalable, and distributed software systems. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering and is well-versed in Micro Services, Full Stack, Javascript, Node.js, ReactJS, RDBMS, NoSQL, and AWS. Shashank has worked in the OTT and ERP/CRM industries and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality products. Currently, Shashank is working as a Lead Software Engineer at LeadSquared, where he is responsible for product engineering. Prior to this, he worked at Jio as a Lead Software Engineer, leading the engineering teams for JioCinema OTT Backend, JioCinema CMS Backend + Frontend, and Content Processing Systems. He was responsible for designing and developing the core architecture, generic and common infrastructure, revamping the existing CMS and content processing systems, and interacting with product management teams to understand new requirements and identify/resolve bottlenecks in integration with other systems. Before Jio, Shashank worked at Claysol Media Labs as a Sr. Software Engineer, where he led the design and development of a distributed OTT streaming system. He converted the legacy monolithic system with 100k+ users to microservices architecture and leveraged managed cloud services to make the backend easily scalable. He also wireframed and developed user-centric front ends, designed and developed scalable backend services, and modeled vital database components. Shashank has a strong educational background, having completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Singhania University in 2013. He also holds an HSC degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. Fidelis College and an SSC degree in Science from the same college.
