Shashank Upadhyay is a seasoned Quality Engineer with over 10 years of experience in software testing and team supervision. He is currently working at Barclays and has a strong background in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, Rest Assured, Maven, Junit, Extent Reporting, Jenkins, and TestNG tools. Shashank has extensive experience in supporting UAT from offshore, helping business users understand the coverage of release scope, preparing scenarios, data preparation, and providing on-call support. He is well-versed with working in an agile-driven development project and has exposure to mobile testing using simulators and actual devices. He also has experience in accessibility testing and has worked with tools such as color contrast and Nvda. Shashank has a good understanding of the payment domain, Swift messaging, corporate banking, credit risk, business banking, and onboarding domain. He has worked on API testing using Soap UI and Rest API and is well-versed with the deployment process. Currently, he is handling a team of 16 members and is responsible for automation test lead to implement Selenium automation across all projects. Shashank has a strong background in client and stakeholder management and has exposure to handling the test side of delivery. He has worked with Nihilent as a Senior Test Analyst and Infostretch as a Senior QA Analyst. Shashank holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Quantum Global Campus, Roorkee. He also holds a diploma from DAV Public School, Haldwani.
