Shashank Yadav is a skilled Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working as an SDE II at Punchh, where he is responsible for handling large distributed micro-services, data structure and algorithms, Rest API, Stripe Integration, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Sidekiq, Core Java, Redis Caching, and Design. He has a deep understanding of RoR projects running on a much larger scale and api throughput requirements. Shashank Yadav is a 2018 GATE qualified professional who is always eager to learn and contribute to the industry. He has previously worked at Daffodil Software as an Associate IT, where he worked on multiple full stack RoR projects with domains such as eCommerce, Real-estate. He has also worked on some challenges in long-running rails monoliths, such as improving page load speed by eliminating bad queries code and database schema refactoring leveraging redis-caching and memorization techniques. He has updated rails monoliths from rails 4 to rails 5 and 6 and broken certain sections of the monoliths into rails engine and package them as ruby gems to re-use them on other projects. Shashank Yadav has also worked as an AngularJS Frontend Developer at CampusBox, where he was an intern. He found this experience to be an awesome place to work and learn. Shashank Yadav has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Galgotia College of Engg. & Tech. He has also completed a Bachelor of Technology degree from Little Flower School in the same field.
