He has specialized in IoT protocols, IoT platforms, and developer ecosystems, as well as user personalization using big data analytics. Shashanka has proven experience from product conceptualization to release, which has helped him to become a successful Sr. SDE at Amazon in the role of Architect for Alexa experiences. During his time at Samsung R&D, Shashanka led the IoT Analytics team, which gave personalized user services from user device data using big data analytics and machine learning models. He has also proven skills in architecture of large-scale systems, creating new protocol stacks and platforms, building new teams and technology from scratch, and Agile Project Management. Currently, Shashanka is working as Senior SDE at Amazon, where he is responsible for creating next-gen voice experiences for Alexa. Shashanka holds a Mtech degree in Digital Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, where he graduated in 2007.
