He implemented a high-performance cloud-native application for extracting and aggregating data from Traffic Flows (NetFlow, sFlow protocols) and then stored it in Elasticsearch. Shashanth also implemented a highly available storage solution using Cassandra DB and Kafka Messaging bus to store time-series data collected by the Monitoring and Reporting Platform to replace the legacy MySQL based storage. He owned a Messaging Service responsible for storing events generated by EMC Smarts in Elasticsearch using RabbitMQ as a messaging queue.
