Shashi Kumar Raja is a highly experienced Senior SDET at Indeed Research, with a passion for testing and software development. With over 8 years of experience in the field, Shashi has worked in both MNCs and startups, leading teams and also working as an individual contributor. Shashi's expertise lies in designing, implementing, and enhancing test frameworks, with a particular interest in backend development. Currently, Shashi is working as a Senior Automation Engineer-Accessibility R&D at Indeed, where he is responsible for ensuring the accessibility of Indeed's products. Prior to this, Shashi has worked as a Senior SDET at Cloudera and TiVo, where he was responsible for quality and test ownership of various products. At Cloudera, Shashi created a containerized test framework using Pytest for testing cloud-native applications deployed using Kubernetes. He also automated reliability testing of infrastructure by doing chaos testing, which willingly injects faults in the system. At TiVo, Shashi was responsible for testing AI and NLP-based products, and he created a load/performance testing framework using Locust to benchmark performance of servers and NLP models. Shashi has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from ggsipu. He also has an Intermediate degree from St.Cecilia's Public school, New Delhi.
