Shashi Bhushan is a seasoned backend developer with over 7 years of experience in information technology and product-based companies. He is currently a Lead Engineer at Dhani, where he explores Generative AI and works on building scalable and low latency systems. Shashi is a certified AWS Solution Architect and Kubernetes Dev, and has expertise in distributed systems architecture and design. Prior to joining Dhani, Shashi worked as an SDE2 at MakeMyTrip and a Senior Software Engineer at Fynd. At Fynd, he was responsible for building the online systems within Fynd shopsense, including developing entire backend infrastructure from scratch and involvement in the entire development lifecycle of their product. Shashi scaled payment and order services for 1 million requests per minute for 20ms of API latency, and implemented Event Sourcing & CQRS patterns in microservices communication. He also integrated APIs of payment gateway like Razorpay, Juspay, Mswipe, Simpl, and optimized response times for cart related API endpoints by 50%. Shashi has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Army Institute of Technology, Pune, and completed his higher secondary education in mathematics and science from D.A.V Public School, Cantt Area Gaya.
