Shashi is a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist with a passion for AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Cloud Infrastructure. With over 6 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Cloud Infrastructure and architecture, Shashi has gained extensive practical and conceptual knowledge in these fields. Currently, Shashi works as a Lead Data Scientist at Intelligent Machines Lab, where his responsibilities include research, design, and implementation of new and existing algorithms for complex problems. He also guides a team of Data Scientists and developers for development and productionization of end-to-end applications, designs new features for the product, and implements them with improved efficiency. Shashi is also responsible for optimizing the infrastructural architecture as per the requirement of the application and load optimization. Additionally, he conducts unit tests and fine-tunes the algorithms after unit and QA testing and deploys these algorithms on servers, keeping the architecture and time-space complexity in mind. In the past, Shashi has worked at Monster India as a Data Scientist, where he was responsible for research, design, and implementation of new and existing algorithms for the improvement of the existing search engine. He also designed new features for the product and implemented them with improved efficiency. At TCS, Shashi worked as a Systems Engineer, where he developed applications using new technologies and conducted research, design, and implementation of various POCs for clients using Machine Learning Algorithms and Hadoop Development Platform for Big Data Analytics. Shashi has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar). He is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Python, Java, AI, Neural Networks, Search, CNN, OpenCV, Object detection, Big Data, Javascript, SQL, Hadoop, Jupyter, SVM, Web, RNN, Word2Vec, Kubernetes, Spring, UI, Backend, Software Engineer, Apache Hive, and more. Shashi is an excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities in resolving complex problems.
