Shashwat Jolly is a highly skilled Software Engineer currently working at Microsoft in Vancouver. With almost 3 years of relevant experience, he has worked on multiple projects and has gained expertise in various technologies. Shashwat has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He also attended Vishwa Bharati Public School in Noida for his secondary education. In his current role at Microsoft, Shashwat has contributed significantly to the development of Microsoft Teams' Web and Desktop Client in the Wiki Team. He has also developed a tool for stitching server and client GraphQL schemas and automatically generating TypeScript interfaces for various queries and mutations. Additionally, he has worked on a new app called Personal Wiki from scratch and implemented its core functionality. His tech stack includes React, Apollo, GraphQL, and TypeScript. Prior to joining Microsoft, Shashwat was a Student Developer at Google Summer of Code where he worked on Akonadi, KDE's backend framework responsible for providing KDE PIM applications with a centralized database to store, index, and retrieve the user's personal information. He also developed a module to add EteSync, a secure, end-to-end encrypted, FLOSS sync solution for contacts, calendars, and tasks to KDE PIM applications. His tech stack for this project included C++ and Qt. Shashwat's skills and experience make him an asset to any team he works with. His expertise in Backend, TypeScript, and Web development, coupled with his strong problem-solving skills, make him an excellent Software Engineer.
